What has been rumored for several months was confirmed on Thursday when Kevin Durant admitted that heated exchange between him and Draymond Green was a factor in him leaving the Golden State Warriors in free agency.
He stated that during an appearance on First Take:
That argument happened back in November when Kevin Durant and Draymond Green got into an on-court spat and had to be separated during the Golden State Warriors’ 121-116 overtime loss to the Los Angeles Clippers.
The spat got so heated that it carried into the Warriors’ locker room where Green challenged Kevin Durant on his impending free agency.

Due to an injury, Durant will have to rehab and wait for the 2020-2021 season to make his debut with the Brooklyn Nets.
