The 4x MVP and champion, LeBron James, is one of the greatest players ever to shoot the ball and has nothing left to prove for himself. As there are numerous supporters and haters behind every legend, it is the same in this case as well.
Some of the biggest supporters of LeBron James are the TV hosts and NBA analysts, former NBA player Kendrick Perkins, and former NFL right end Shanon Sharpe. But it turns out that a war started between them over a debate regarding LeBron’s milestones with the Lakers.
Kendrick Perkins and Shannon Sharpe engage in a heated argument over LeBron James
Recently, Stephen A. Smith, Shanon Sharpe, and Kendrick Perkins have been debating the LA Clippers’ schedule on ESPN’s First Take. During the discussion, Sharpe brought up LeBron’s name, sparking a heated argument between Perkins and Sharpe over who is a greater supporter.
Perkins said that he has been a supporter for two decades. “You just hopped on this LeBron train, I’ve been on this train since 2001. You forgot, now let me go take you in history – me and LeBron played together, me and LeBron was in the Mickey D’s class. So when it comes to being an advocate for LeBron James, you just joined the family reunion.“
This argument was too hard to pass on for the Twitter nation, and even fans started to react to this LeBron James conversation by making jokes about the two analysts fighting over who was the bigger fanboy.

Perkins believes LeBron deserves a statue at the Lakers
It might be difficult for some people to digest the fact that, just like LeBron James, Kendrick Perkins joined the league straight out of high school, and he and LeBron have been really good friends since then.
Following LeBron’s historic achievement of becoming the first player to ever score 40,000 regular-season points in the NBA, Perkins declared that LeBron deserved a statue in the Crypto Arena in Los Angeles.
Perkins said, “Get ready to start sculpting the statue for LeBron [James] outside of Crypto Arena… The GOAT!“
Perkins’s views about the Lakers star further sparked another conversation about whether LeBron has done enough for the franchise or whether he deserves a statue in the Crypto Arena.
Amidst all the debates about LeBron’s impact, it’s undeniable how he elevates his team and the sport. It’s like being the oldest seasoned veteran on the court, but still dropping 25.3 points, dishing out 7.9 assists, and grabbing 7.1 rebounds every game is just surreal.
