The Boston Celtics enter this season as the defending champions, fresh off their 18th NBA title win. While they remain one of the top contenders and last season’s title contenders like the Dallas Mavericks, the Phoenix Suns are also making waves as a team to watch. Many people, including the former NBA star Kevin Garnett, have high hopes for the Suns.
One of the Suns’ most prominent supporters is former NBA star Kendrick Perkins, who sees great potential in their roster. Speaking on NBA Today, Perkins specifically pointed to Mason Plumlee as a key player for the Suns.
“This guy (Mason Plumlee)… He’s so valuable to this team. Every single team he’s been on, he helped them move the goalpost on both ends of the floor,” Perkins said.
