On Tuesday, Philadelphia 76ers big man Joel Embiid expressed some concerns over the NBA “bubble” at Disney World in Orlando, questioning whether or not it will actually be safe.
ESPN analyst and former NBA center Kendrick Perkins wasn’t feeling Embiid’s comments and promptly blasted him for being scared of contracting a deadly disease.
The 2019-20 NBA campaign was suspended back in mid-March as a result of Utah Jazz big man Rudy Gobert testing positive for COVID-19.
Last month, however, the league agreed to restart its campaign at Disney World at the end of July. The league as well as the players desperately want to crown a champ this season.
