On Thursday, former Cleveland Cavaliers big man Kendrick Perkins faced widespread criticism after he noticeably left Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry off his list of top five point guards of all time.
He then followed that up by sayng Curry wasn’t a true point guard.
The 32-year-old Curry has only gone to five NBA Finals, won three championships and earned two MVP awards. Not to mention, he was rewarded as being the first unanimous MVP in NBA history, receiving all 131 first-place votes.
Curry led the Warriors to the best regular season record (73-9) ever during the 2015-16 campaign, but it ended with the team losing a 3-1 series lead to the Cavs in the Finals.
