As the 2024 NBA playoff tournament approaches its end, many discussions are popping up regarding the outstanding players in different categories. NBA analyst Kendrick Perkins made one such list of the “most clutch playoff players of all time,” ranking his top five NBA greats according to their ability to turn the game in the final minute.
On top of Perkins’ list was the Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan, followed by Boston Celtics’ Bill Russell and 7-time NBA champion Robert Horry. While talking about some of the greatest clutch scorers, one cannot miss Lakers’ LeBron James as the 20-time All-Star was placed in the fourth spot, and he ended his list with former Celtics ace Paul Pierce.
Before unveiling his list, Perkins mentioned that it could hurt many feelings, and it did. Once the video was uploaded on the internet, it spread like wildfire, with NBA fans from every corner questioning the ESPN analyst’s basketball knowledge while giving their verdict.
