Kendrick Perkins did not like what Jason Whitlock had to say about Paul Pierce.
On Monday, ESPN fired NBA analyst Paul Pierce after he published racy Instagram videos on Friday, showing him smoking what appeared to be marijuana and with strippers twerking in the background.
Jason Whitlock commented on the situation, referring to Pierce as ‘lost athlete.’
“Covered Paul Pierce’s entire college career. Never anticipated him becoming an eccentric superstar. The live stream video just seems like another lost athlete chasing social media relevance. A different version of Antonio Brown 2.0.”
Perkins did not like it one bit, saying “Stop it! I don’t agree with what he did but you are not about to do this homeboy. Real Talk!”

When the news became public on Monday, Pierce went to Twitter and posted a four-second video that said, “Smile” and the message, “Big Things coming soon stay tuned make sure u smile #Truthshallsetufree.”
In good news for him, Pierce is expected to be voted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame this year.
