It finally happened. Kawhi Leonard made his much anticipated return to the city of San Antonio to take on the team he refused to play for after an injury in the playoffs changed everything and how he viewed the franchise.
The Spurs came out guns blazing and pretty much dominated the entire game, ultimately winning 125-107.
As far as Kawhi goes, he had a solid 21 points shooting 8-13 from the field. The Leonard battle wasn’t just exclusive to the floor action after a Spurs fan caught Kawhi’s mom in the stands yelling at one particular Spurs fan to “shut up” during the game.
