Kawhi Leonard seemed to be a very busy man before making his decision to sign with the Los Angeles Clippers.
On the same day the two-time Finals MVP met with Jeanie Buss and Rob Pelinka to discuss him possibly signing with the franchise, Leonard reportedly met with Paul George at a nearby location, according to ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne.
The Lakers’ meeting with Leonard lasted several hours, but they had no clue that the Los Angeles Clippers and Raptors were in trade talks that centered around Paul George.
It was Saturday morning when the Clippers sent shockwaves through the NBA when Kawhi Leonard agreed to sign with the team and they traded for Paul George.
