The Miami Heat refuse to be overlooked as they shocked everybody by defeating the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday night in Game 5 of the 2020 NBA Finals.
Hours before the game even started and people were already crowning the Lakers as the champs as they brought out their Mamba jerseys, something they hadn’t lost in all postseason long.
Tyler Herro’s girlfriend, Katya Elise Henry, certainly wanted people to know they screwed up by thinking the series was over in 5 by giving a middle finger on Twitter.
Heat rookie Tyler Herro scored 12 points but perhaps no points were bigger than the two made free throws with 1.6 seconds left that clinched the victory. Following a defensive stop by the Heat in the closing seconds, Herro was fouled but made both free throws to close out the game.
Of course, social media jumped all over Katya for her words after the game:
