The New York Knicks are having one of the best seasons this year. With 31 wins and 16 losses, Karl-Anthony Towns and co. are looking like one of the favorites to lift the NBA title. And a large chunk of the success goes to Karl-Anthony Towns and Josh Hart. Together, the duo has given some of the toughest nights to their opponents throughout the season. Unfortunately, despite such a splendid performance, Josh Hart was not selected for the NBA All-Star team.
With the list of 2025 NBA All-Stars starters announced recently, there were a couple of Knicks’ athletes that made the cut. Apart from the obvious choice of Karl-Anthony Towns, Jalen Brunson too, featured as an All-Star. Such an exclusion did not sit well with KAT. The Knicks’ star recently stated jokingly that he would have wanted Hart to accompany him to San Francisco.
“I want to ruin his whole break. I want him to be right there with us playing basketball. What he say, he wants to put his toes in the sand? We ain’t doing that. I want him to be at the All-Star,” Anthony Towns stated.

Surely, Hart has played 46 out of the 47 games for the Knicks. Aver aging 13.9 points per game, Hart also boasts of 9.8 rebounds, 5.7 assists, and 1.5 steals. Meanwhile, as Anthony Townsheaps praises on Josh Hart, he too, was praised significantly by a NBA legend earlier this month.
Kendrick Perkins Impressed With Karl-Anthony Towns
Karl-Anthony Towns began his New Year with a bang. Returning to the side against the Utah Jazz, KAT propelled the Knicks to a 119-103 victory. Putting up an incredible performance, Anthony Towns dropped 31 points and 21 rebounds to send the crowd to a frenzy. And this performance garnered the attention of former NBA champion, Kendrick Perkins.
“New York definitely has unlocked a different KAT. He’s been on some other s**t since he arrived in the City,” Perkins stated, heaping praises on KAT.
