Karl-Anthony Towns shot poorly all around, missing his first seven attempts in the first half and going 5–18 from the field and 0–8 from the three-point line. It completes a lousy run of three games, with KAT scoring 16, 15, and 14 points each. This includes a few staggering figures:
Karl-Anthony Towns has only made three of his 22 three-point tries this series, going 15–54 overall. KAT had an evil series, but Game 3, in particular, featured several unfavorable statistics.
Until the fourth quarter, Minnesota was again kept competitive by Anthony Edwards, 22. Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic were relentless in their attack, making it appear that the game would end soon.
