In Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals, the Boston Celtics defeated the Indiana Pacers 126-110, extending their series lead to 2-0. Jaylen Brown scored 40 points for the Celtics, leading them to a victory on the road. Brown made 14 of 27 field goals and 8 of 11 free throws, and he also grabbed five rebounds.
The Celtics maintained a thirteen-point lead after three quarters, and the Pacers never came closer than eleven in the fourth. Throughout the series, Brown has consistently turned in outstanding performances. When the Celtics were on the verge of defeat in the first game, Brown hit the game-winning 3-pointer to send the contest into overtime. He worked hard, and the Celtics prevailed in both games.
