Things heated up rather quickly during the 76ers-Minnesota matchup on Wednesday night Philadelphia 76ers’ Joel Embiid and Minnesota Timberwolves’ Karl-Anthony Towns started shoving each other, which led to both of them engaging in a NBA-style fist fight.
By NBA-style fist fight, we mean they grabbed and hugged each other until teammates came to break them up.
During that initial hug-fest, a simple photo was taken that showed Embiid literally tried to gouge the eys of Karl-Anthony Towns during the fight.
Embiid seemed to have a great time afterwards as he celebrated with teammates, shadow-boxed and got the fans riled up.
The 76ers would go on to win the game easily, 117-96.
