After playing a lackluster Game 1 against the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday — Joel Embiid was posed with many questions, not about how he played, but why he seen looking at a cell phone that was taken out by Amir Johnson.
It was a terrible look for both players who could face a fine or even a suspension because of it.
Following the Game 1 loss, Embiid claimed he looked down because Johnson stated his daughter was “extremely sick.”
Hopefully, this was the truth and not a ploy to cover up something else they were doing.
