It does not matter how much media attention the royal family gets, there are a ton of people who truly do not care about them.
The Prince and Princess of Wales attended the Boston Celtics game against the Miami Heat at the TD Garden Wednesday night. Prince William and Princess Catherine arrived in Boston and sat courtside along with Celtics legend Tom “Satch” Sanders, Massachusetts Governor-elect Maura Healey, Boston Mayor Michelle Wu, Celtics Governor Wyc Grousbeck and Celtics co-owner Steve Pagliuca.
The couple received loud cheers at the Celtics game, but also some booing after they were shown on the Jumbotron. At one point, there were also cheers of “USA” from the crowd.
After the game, one reporter wanted to get a nice quote from Jaylen Brown about playing in front of the Royal family, his response showed he couldn’t care less.
Head coach Joe Mazzulla had an even better reaction when that same reporter wanted his thoughts on the Royal family being there.
“Jesus, Mary, and Joseph? I’m only familiar with one royal family. I don’t know too much about them. But hopefully, they’re Celtics fans.”

Mazzulla took over as interim head coach after Ime Udoka was suspended earlier this season. Udoka, in his first year as head coach, led the Celtics to the second-best record in the Eastern Conference (51-31) and a berth in the NBA Finals in June.
The Celtics won the game 134-121. They are off to a historic start to the year as Jayson Tatum is putting up MVP-type numbers.
