The Boston Celtics might be going through a lean phase at the moment. In their last six games, the green team has managed only a couple of victories. Last Sunday, too, the Celtics failed to overcome a resilient Indiana Pacers. Succumbing to a 123-114 defeat, things have started to look quite gloomy for the Celtics. However, despite the tough time, Head Coach Joe Mazzulla is keeping his spirits high.
With four games coming up within a span of six days, things are looking quite rough for the Celtics. But Mazzulla wants to embrace the challenge and is feeling excited. “I’m actually really excited about it… It’s gonna be fun. It’s gonna be great,” Mazzulla said via Daniel Donabedian. In reality, the road ahead might be a little bumpy for Jaylen Brown and Co.

The Celtics will initially host the Toronto Raptors at home on New Year’s Eve. Next, Mazzulla and his team will travel to Minnesota and Texas to square off against the Timberwolves and Houston Rockets. Lastly, the Oklahoma City Thunder last Sunday will conclude a hectic week for the green team. Meanwhile, the Celtics’ head coach also had an interesting take on the NBA ratings issue.
Joe Mazzulla Addresses Himself As The ‘Problem’ For NBA Rating Downfall
The issue with NBA ratings going down has been persisting for a while. In a recent comparison with the NFL Christmas Day ratings, the NBA fared poorly, raising the concerns further. While there have been many arguments regarding the reason for such a decline, Joe Mazzulla’s take has been quite an interesting one.
Asked Joe Mazzulla on what he thinks about the NBA ratings discussion:

“I add to that. I don’t watch NBA games. So I’m just as much the problem as anyone else is. I don’t like watching the games,” said Mazzulla. He went on to say that since he is within the basketball sphere at every moment, watching the game does not feel like a major thing of interest.
