LeBron James has made it clear that he intends to play in every regular-season game this year. So far, the Los Angeles Lakers star has stayed true to his word, appearing in every matchup. During the Lakers’ recent loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday, James reached a significant milestone by playing in his 1,800th career NBA game, surpassing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s all-time record of 1,797 games.
Lakers head coach JJ Redick addressed concerns about James’ workload following Monday’s loss. When asked if it was wise for LeBron to continue playing every game, Redick shared his perspective.
“I don’t know that’s in the best interest of him and us if he does that, but if he’s feeling well and feeling good, then he should play,” Redick said.

Lakers legend LeBron seemed tired of playing back-to-back games this season. After scoring 27 points in their win over the Utah Jazz on Sunday, LeBron scored only 10 points on Monday against the Timberwolves. He also struggled with shooting, going 4-for-16 from the field and 0-for-4 from three-point range.
Rob Parker Questions LeBron James’ Longevity After Lakers’ Loss
Following the Los Angeles Lakers’ defeat against the Minnesota Timberwolves, NBA analyst Rob Parker shared a critical perspective on LeBron James’ performance this season. During his appearance on Fox Sports Radio, Parker hinted that age may finally be catching up to the basketball icon.
“When you’re this age, it’s never gradual. Nobody has beaten Father Time. At some point, you’re not going to be able to do what you did,” Parker said.

LeBron has entered his 22nd NBA season this year. The soon-to-be 40-year-old is averaging 22.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 9.1 assists per season. But Parker believes the physical demands of the game might begin to take a toll on the Lakers’ star as the season progresses.
