To commemorate the start of the NBA Finals on Tuesday night, Kimmel Live had NBA stars past and present read mean tweets about themselves.
LaVar Ball, Grant Hill, Caron Butler, Ja Morant, Brandon Ingram, Trae Young, Zach LaVine, Dwight Howard, Khris Middleton and Kemba Walker were among the other athletes who had some things to say about nasty notes, which they read out loud on Tuesday’s episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” in honor of the 2021 NBA Finals.
Shaquille O’Neal read his first in the below video, but he made sure to dunk right back on the Twitter user.
“That’s a good one. Tell your mother make my sandwich, be naked when I get there. Hi, Mom,” O’Neal fired back.
“If LaVar Ball is such a big baller why can’t he afford a tooth brush?” Ball responded by saying that he likes his “teeth gold.”
Trae Young of the Atlanta Hawks read a tweet that featured a person poking fun at his hair. “I like Trae Young but his hair looks like a lollipop that got dropped on the carpet,” the tweet read. “What flavor lollipop? I may be delicious,” Young replied.
