Jimmy Butler did not have his best effort in Game Two despite the Miami Heat winning, but that might have more to do with what he is dealing with in his personal life.
Butler is reportedly going through some tough family stuff amid the NBA Finals as his father is “not well at the moment” according to Skip Bayless.
“I think he might be a little distracted, if not a little drained, by going through that.”
We pray that Jimmy’s father comes out of whatever illness he is dealing with at the moment.
Butler finished with 21 points in the Heat’s 111-108 win against the Denver Nuggets on Sunday night at Ball Arena to even these Finals at a game apiece.
He may not have shot well, but he was more aggressive at driving into the paint, taking 14 shots from inside 18 feet and drawing five free throws.

Two-time MVP Nikola Jokic has been the star as he poured in his 15th career triple-double in the playoffs in Game 1. He had 14 assists in Game 1, which caused the Heat to change everything to allow him to score more while limiting his ability to make plays for others.
He scored 41 on the night but finished with five turnovers and just four assists, and Denver has struggled when Jokic is not able to command its offense.
The Nuggets are 0-3 when Jokic scores 40 or more points during the playoffs and 13-1 when he scores fewer than 40.
If the Heat can continue to do that while knocking down their threes, they can surely walk away with an NBA title.
