For admirers of Jayson Tatum, Christopher Tatum Jr., sometimes known as “Deuce,” is a mainstay in many Boston Celtics games. The six-year-old may frequently be seen watching his father lead the Celtics at the TD Garden. Given what his father does for a job, the younger Tatum’s interest in hoops is not surprising.
The All-Star often posts pictures and videos of his son practicing. Henceforth, it isn’t surprising to hear that Jayson Tatum has a plan for developing his son.
It is said that he is consulting with renowned NBA skills coach Drew Hanlen to determine the best course of action for the younger Tatum’s basketball development.
He said, “We talk about Deuce’s development plan as a five years old or six years old.” Deuce had his first game and was 0-1 but according to Hanlen, he has to “turn it up“.
Jayson Tatum is invested in Deuce’s development and so are the fans. It will be interesting to see the son following an almost iconic father’s footsteps.
