President Donald Trump is once again at war with the National Football League, and just like back in 2016, it’s over players kneeling during the Anthem.
Trump stated on Friday while he expects the National Football League (NFL) to return to the field in the fall, he won’t be watching if players kneel during the National Anthem. The statement comes after Commissioner Roger Goodell said the league was “wrong for not listening” to NFL players earlier.
You can count New Orleans Pelicans shooting guard JJ Redick and Boston Celtics All-Star small forward Jayson Tatum as guys who simply do not care what he does with his time.
It was back in 2016 Colin Kaepernick first knelt during the national anthem to protest police brutality and racial injustices in America. He has not played a single down in the league since that year ended.
