If Houston Rockets had a little hope that James Harden was fully on board with the team for the upcoming season, his mother just dashed the hopes away.
James Harden’s reported desire to switch NBA teams from Houston to Brooklyn was essentially confirmed when his mother, Monja Willis, responded to a Houston fan who asked her to clarify what is going on with her 31-year-old son.
“He is doing what is best for his career. Please pay attention and understand. He has worked hard every time he suited up for his job, giving 210 percent. He asked for a chance to get a ring, that’s it. Anyone in their right mind… would want that.”
Harden has yet to report to training camp with the Rockets, in fact, social media posts show him in Las Vegas getting his party on.
The team has been quite silent about the situation, but eventually they are going to have to do something before this situation gets worse.
