James Harden has never been one of those NBA players to utilize social media to respond to much of anything. After his first game with the Brooklyn Nets, he had a lot to say.
Shortly after dropping a triple-double as a member of the Brooklyn Nets — Harden fired back at the likes of Shaq and Charles Barkley over their commentary about him forcing his way out of Houston.
On Saturday, Harden had 32 points, 14 assists and 11 rebounds in the team’s 122-115 win over the Orlando Magic. Harden’s 14 assists were a franchise record for assists in a players’ first game with the team. He also had four steals, one block and nine turnovers in just under 40 minutes.
Harden went viral during his final press conference with the Rockets, when he stated the team wasn’t good enough to compete for much of anything. He would be soon get his wish of being traded and appears to be happy.
