Josh Hart and Jalen Brunson have more reasons to celebrate this offseason with the Knicks bringing in Mikal Bridges. The franchise is mostly being called “Villanova Knick” for having a whole host of players from the college team. But what will be their plans next season when the Knicks will renew hostilities with the Sixers? Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart recently discussed that in a hilarious way.
During a recent episode of “The Roommate Show”, Hart and Brunson were asked who would guard the new Sixers forward, Paul George. Jalen Brunson was quick to raise his hand like a school kid to volunteer himself for the guarding duty. Hart was quick to shut that down and proposed Brunson guard Jarrad McCain. Hart wanted Kyle O’Quinn on Tyrese Maxey as well, but Brunson was only committed to guarding PG13.
With the major signing of Paul George, the Sixers are now one of the bookies’ favorites to win the championship. The Knicks showed last season how good they can be and now, with the addition of former Villanova teammate, Mikal Bridges, they look sharper in the backcourt.
However, some issues need ironing out. One of them is the replacement of Isaiah Hartenstein, who joined the OKC Thunder. Brunson and Hart also reacted to this move and made their feelings clear for their former teammate.
Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart React to Isaiah Hartenstein’s Deal
Isaiah Hartenstein entered free agency after appearing for two seasons in the New York colors. He was soon acquired by the Oklahoma City Thunder. As the German left the franchise, Hart said, “He’s dead to us.”

After going to his new team, Hartenstein messaged Brunson, who had a similar reaction. Revealing how he reacted to his ex-teammate on their show, Brunson said, “He texted me, he was like, ‘Yo bro, appreciate everything killa.’ I was like, ‘Who’s this?'”
Both Hart and Brunson were joking with their former teammate; even Hartenstein knew about their amusing nature. While the latter would enjoy his new team, the Knicks players will enjoy the upcoming season with their new lineup.
