The Brooklyn Nets star Nic Claxton has seemingly faced karma for the arrogance he displayed last year. Claxton remarked early last year that he had never lost to the New York Knicks, and it looks like they took his statements as an insult.
The Nets did not have the most outstanding season this year as they struggled to make their mark. They also faced an injury plague where most players got injured and did not participate for most of the season. Claxton was among the few regulars; it was a perfect opportunity for the Knicks to humble him.
Ever since the Nets star issued his statements in early January last year, he has not won a single game against the New York Knicks. Claxton has been 0-6 vs. the Knicks since the previous year, and his most recent loss against the franchise came on Friday. His statements and arrogance came to bite him back as the Knicks made sure not to lose to the Nets with Claxton playing.
