During a recent episode of the show ‘Inside the NBA on TNT,’ Golden State Warriors player Draymond Green was asked about the conference semifinals of the playoffs involving the Denver Nuggets and the Minnesota Timberwolves. In response, he criticized Rudy Gobert and said that Minnesota lost the confidence to come back after the game-five loss against Denver.
“Listen here, I got two things of why this series ain’t coming back to Minnesota . Number one, the big Frenchman is sitting on that podium, speaking his native language. We we we need to do this, you you you need to get a stop. It ain’t we. Karl Anthony-Towns is actually doing a pretty good job when he’s on Joker. It’s you, my man, that’s getting cooked.” Draymond Green Said.

Draymond Green defended Karl-Anthony Towns while criticizing Rudy Gobert
Draymond Green praised Karl-Anthony Towns for his performance in the last game, stating that he was playing well before getting injured and limping off the floor. Green mentioned that he is always looking for every minute weakness in the game and asserted that Minnesota lost belief in winning more games, signaling the end of the series.
“Number two, when you’re in these playoff series, for me, I’m always looking for the smallest ounce of weakness that I can find. And the way Karl Anthony Towns walked off that floor with a limp after he played the rest of that game totally fine and then he could barely walk leaving the court, they don’t believe anymore. When you lose the belief, it’s over. And they don’t believe they can win anymore, which means this series is over.” Draymond Green added.
Green criticized Gobert as a non-impactful player and suggested that the Timberwolves should not play him. The Warriors player had already reprimanded Gobert for his poor postseason performance. Although the Warriors star’s comments may seem unfair, there is some truth to them. Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic finished with 40 points, 13 assists, and seven rebounds, arguably his best performance of the series.
