The Miami Heat have a net rating of +1.7 and a record of 45-36, which places them in eighth place in the Eastern Conference and sixteenth overall. One final game remains to determine the seeding for the play-in tournament and the postseason.
During an interview, Miami Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra was asked about his strategy for the upcoming games and his experience of this season.
Spoelstra replied that the playoffs would be the true test and would tell the whole story. He also mentioned that he has experienced a lot this year and described it as an eventful season.
“The playoffs will let us know. But we’ve certainly experienced a lot together. That’s for sure. It’s been an eventful season. Many different things have happened, but as long as your team approaches all those experiences correctly, you’re gaining something from them. Then, developing some collective grit and toughness, all of that definitely can be a benefit. And then we’ll find out.” Erik Spoelstra said during the interview.

The Miami Heat are currently ranked ninth in the Eastern Conference, and they are known for being very competitive. In their final game, they will face the Toronto team and aim to win two games in a row.
However, they can finish anywhere between fifth and ninth place to avoid the play-in event.
If the Heat want to avoid the tournament and finish in sixth place, they will need to beat the Orlando Magic, the Philadelphia 76ers, or the Indiana Pacers. For the Heat to win, these situations must occur, so it will be a difficult afternoon.
