Embiid held on to his foot, because of which he received a flagrant-1 foul. However, DiVincenzo went to confront Embiid about the play, and soon, there was a gathering of Knicks and Sixers players on the court. The officials intervened to separate the groups and resume the play.
Joel Embiid claimed that he held Robinson’s leg as a measure of self-defense. However, the Knicks weren’t buying it and blamed the Sixers star for playing a dirty game. In return, Embiid was yelling at every Knicks player throughout the game.
