Team Serbia will continue its pre-Olympics exhibition tour on Wednesday in Abu Dhabi, where they will face Team USA. Concerns have arisen for Serbia as their star player, Nikola Jokic, is questionable for the game against Team USA.
Besides Jokic, Nikola Jovic’s availability is also in question. Jovic is still recovering from an ankle injury.
This situation provides an opportunity for Team USA to extend their winning streak in exhibition games after already defeating Canada and Australia. Meanwhile, the USA team’s star, Joel Embiid, also claimed that he’s not currently worried about Jokic and his team.
In Serbia’s previous victory over Team France, Jokic played a crucial role and changed France’s momentum in the second quarter.
With his dominance, France scored only nine points in the second half. Jokic ended the game by scoring 20 points and grabbing 12 rebounds in 30 minutes.
On Team USA’s side, Kevin Durant is likely to be sidelined again due to his calf injury. This injury also kept him out of the previous two games.
