The Los Angeles Lakers will be locking horns against the San Antonio Spurs next. Suffering back-to-back losses in their last two games, the purple and gold brigade will be desperate to come back into winning ways. After all, having started the season with three consecutive victories, the Lakers would not want to miss out on their playoff chances. However, in order to get the better of Spurs, the Lakers would need one particular man in full flow- LeBron James.
Unfortunately, everything is not okay with him and he might just miss the next game. Managing a left foot injury for quite some time, the NBA legend kept playing with it in the previous games. The constant impact might have resulted in flaring up of the injury as James finds him in the list of probables. Now, there are no confirmed reports of James missing out in the game.

But his status is marked as ‘probable’ in the Lakers’ latest injury list. Along with King James, Anthony Davis, and Cameron Reddish, they are also marked as questionable for the Lakers’ game against the Spurs. Meanwhile, James has been a consistent performer for the Lakers this season. In an unfortunate turn of events, the Los Angeles-based team lost tantalizingly to the Houston Rockets a few days back. Surprisingly, as James called a last-second timeout request, the referee ignored it!
LeBron James Reflects On His Timeout Fiasco
LeBron James called for a timeout in the dying seconds of the Lakers’ match against the Rockets. As they succumbed to a 115-119 defeat, a big controversy broke out regarding how the referee ignored James’ call for a timeout in the closing seconds. However, as the hoops community went up in arms, King James did not seem mad at the referee.
“Absolutely. That’s why I called the timeout because I saw it go wrong. They played it good, stayed on top of everything. I saw Fred shoot a guy on top of me and I called timeout when Max definitely still had the ball in his hands. It wasn’t rewarded but that happens, you don’t lose a game because of that,” James said.
