The Los Angeles Lakers will take on the Detroit Pistons at 10:30 PM ET on Monday at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California. Both teams are coming off wins and will look to carry their momentum into this game.
The Lakers enter the game with a 16-12 record after back-to-back victories over the Sacramento Kings. Meanwhile, the Pistons, who have struggled this season with a 12-17 record, are riding high following a 133-125 win over the Phoenix Suns.
LeBron James is expected to suit up and play a pivotal role for the Lakers. After missing two games earlier this season due to left foot soreness, LeBron recently made his return to the court.
Injury concerns remain for both teams. For the Lakers, Christian Wood (knee), Jaxson Hayes (ankle), and Jarred Vanderbilt (knee) are ruled out, while Jalen Hood-Schifino is questionable with a hamstring issue.
On the other hand, the Pistons have fewer injury concerns. Isaiah Stewart is listed as questionable due to a knee injury.
LeBron James Continues to Make History in Dominant Performances
In back-to-back wins over the Sacramento Kings last week, LeBron James reached multiple career milestones. In Thursday’s victory, LeBron became just the 13th player in franchise history to score over 10,000 points for the Lakers. On the same night, he broke another record by surpassing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for the most minutes played in NBA history.

But the milestones didn’t stop there. In Saturday’s rematch against the Kings, LeBron once again etched his name in the record books by becoming the league’s all-time leader in 10+ point games. With 1,510 such games, he moved past Abdul-Jabbar’s previous record of 1,509.
Despite being in his 22nd season, the 39-year-old continues to defy expectations. LeBron is averaging 23.0 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 8.9 assists per game this season.
