Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James has declared his intention to play all 82 games this season. The Lakers icon has kept his word so far and is expected to suit up for their upcoming game against the Denver Nuggets on Saturday night.
However, the Lakers’ injury report paints a challenging picture. Anthony Davis is listed as probable with left plantar fasciitis, but several other key players are sidelined. Jaxson Hayes, Jarred Vanderbilt, Bronny James, Quincy Olivari, and Christian Wood are all ruled out. On a brighter note, Rui Hachimura will probably suit up against the Nuggets, and his name is on the list.
The Lakers are looking to rebound after a heartbreaking one-point loss to the Orlando Magic in their previous game. Facing the former champions won’t be easy, especially with Nikola Jokic likely returning to the Nuggets’ lineup after missing several games for personal reasons.
Bouncing back is essential for the Lakers to maintain their strong position in the competitive Western Conference, especially with LeBron James determined to lead by example throughout the season.
Skip Bayless Criticizes LeBron James Over Social Media Shutdown
LeBron James recently declared he would be shutting down his social media accounts. Sports analyst Skip Bayless didn’t hold back in his response. On The Skip Bayless Show, Bayless called James “mentally fragile” and accused him of overreacting to the criticism he faced after saying he watched Dalton Knecht’s college game.
“LeBron’s pissy about Dalton Knecht. Why LeBron? He says people on the internet are calling him a liar for saying that he closely watched a lot of Dalton Knecht’s games at Tennessee and that he loved him and that people don’t believe that he actually watched a lot of Dalton Knecht at Tennessee,” Bayless said.

“He’s actually said, I’m off social media. I’m going to take my ball, and I’m going to go home because you people called me a liar. What a baby!” he added.
This isn’t the first time Bayless has targeted LeBron James with sharp criticism, and it likely won’t be the last. How LeBron reacts to it will remain to be seen.
