The Phoenix Suns are heading into Saturday night’s game against the Miami Heat at Kaseya Center with a 12-9 record, sitting seventh in the Western Conference standings. Their recent 126-124 loss to the New Orleans Pelicans highlighted some struggles.
This game marks the second and final regular-season meeting between the Suns and the Heat. Ahead of the game, both teams released their injury report.
Kevin Durant is out with an ankle injury. Durant suffered a left ankle sprain during the Suns’ 104-93 victory over the San Antonio Spurs earlier in the week.
Additionally, Jalen Bridges is out due to his assignment to the G League. Ryan Dunn is listed as questionable with an ankle issue, Collin Gillespie is unavailable due to a two-way contract, and Jusuf Nurkic will not play because of a thigh injury.
On the Miami Heat’s side, their injury report includes several updates. Pelle Larsson is questionable with an ankle issue, Kel’el Ware is out due to his G League assignment, Jimmy Butler is listed as probable with a knee concern. Both Josh Christopher and Keshad Johnson are out as they are also assigned to the G League.
When Will Kevin Durant Return?
Kevin Durant twisted his ankle during their win over the Spurs. The Suns star was unable to return. The injury was the reason that Durant subsequently missed the Suns’ loss to the Pelicans. According to Shams Charania, Durant will be re-evaluated in one week.
