Kevin Durant is coming off one of the healthiest NBA seasons. But due to injury, he could not continue exhibition games at the Paris Olympics as he injured his calf a couple of weeks ago.
Even with Durant’s injury concerns, Team USA remains optimistic. The team recently showcased their strength by fending off a late surge from Australia to secure a 98-92 victory in Abu Dhabi.
Suns star Devin Booker led the charge by scoring 16 points and making all seven of his free throws. Anthony Davis added a stunning 17 points and 14 rebounds, Anthony Edwards contributed 14 points, and LeBron James chipped in with 10 points to clinch the win.
Both Serbia and the USA have started their preparations on a strong note. Serbia triumphed over France with a 79-67 victory in their first exhibition game, while Team USA began their warm-up matches with an 86-72 win over Team Canada.
