Nia Long & Ime Udoka are no more.
According to multiple reports, the 51-year-old and 45-year-old ended their 13-year relationship after the former Boston Celtics head coach allegedly had an affair with a female subordinate within the team’s organization.
The two of them were also engaged for seven years.
“The situation is unfortunate and painful, but Nia is focusing on her children and rebuilding her life,” the source told PEOPLE.
Udoka had an inappropriate relationship with the Celtics’ travel planner, who also was in charge of booking flights for Long to attend home and road games. That also included helping with her arrangements to move to Boston permanently.
Both parties are now solely focused on co-parenting their 11-year-old son, Kez.

As for Long, she recently aired her grievances on the Boston Celtics for failing to reach out to her as well as making the dirty laundry public amid the scandal. She said, “I think the most heartbreaking thing about all of this was seeing my son’s face when the Boston Celtics organization decided to make a very private situation public.”
Udoka, who remains suspended, was rumored to be Steve Nash’s replacement at the head of the Brooklyn Nets bench. The team ultimately decided to go with Jacque Vaughn.
