During the fourth quarter of a game between the Boston Celtics and the New York Knicks in January 2013, Kevin Garnett appeared to say something to Carmelo Anthony which angered the Knicks superstar and had him waiting for Garnett by the Celtics team bus.
It was a moment that continues to be talked about even today.
There was speculation that KG said Melo’s wife tasted like ‘Honey Nut Cheerios’ but that rumor was shut down by both Garnett and LaLa.
Iman Shumpert, who played for the Knicks, was asked about it during an interview with Vlad TV:
“I don’t know the specific thing, I just know there was a suck my dick attached. I was actually hurt that game too, so I was floating in and out of going to the locker room and getting whatever treatment rehab then I come sit out there for a little bit in my seat…. I remember Melo being like cottonmouth mad. Like he just wasn’t letting it go but it was like I don’t know, a grown man saying something like that.”
As you can what Fat Joe said in the video, a lot of people do not like it when you say ‘suck my dick,’ and that clearly had Melo ready to go to war.
