Anthony Edwards has been a nightmare throughout the series for the Suns and especially for Kevin Durant. The 22-year-old guard did not pass up a single opportunity to get in the ears of KD, and he aims to continue that even in the summer.
On Sunday night, the Timberwolves secured a 122-116 win to book their ticket for playoff round two. In a post-game interview, Ant-Man discussed the win and said, “I got the utmost respect for KD. He comes in and competes every night. I’ve watched every one of his games since I’ve been 5. I love that guy.” He added, “I’m excited to play with him this summer, talk a little trash and let him know I sent him home.”
Kevin Durant will meet Anthony Edwards again when the USA men’s basketball team starts the training camp for the 2024 Paris Olympics. The Timberwolves man will surely let KD know how he made sure the 35-year-old gets some rest before the all-important summer event. Edwards is having a massive season for the Minnesota franchise, and he continued his dominance in the postseason, pulling the Timberwolves to the next round.

Anthony Edwards again led the scoring for the Wolves on Sunday night against the Suns with a 40-point performance. With the 40-9-6 stat line with a healthy FG of 56.5%, Edwards ensured they wouldn’t have to play again before at least May 4.
The two-time NBA All-Star scored 33, 15, and 36 in the series coming into game four. His performance in game four took his points per game in the series to 31, along with 8 rebounds and 6.3 assists. His shooting in the series was immaculate, with 43.8% 3 PTS shooting while putting a massive shift defensively. He averaged 2 steals per game and caused a lot of trouble for Durant and Co. Though Devin Booker scored a game-high 49 in game four, it wasn’t enough to force game five as the hosts put a full stop to the Suns’ season.
