The Los Angeles Lakers have made significant efforts to acquire top players in support of LeBron James and Anthony Davis. During the offseason, they offered Klay Thompson a lucrative deal. However, he chose to join the Dallas Mavericks instead. Additionally, Dalton Knecht, who was selected by the Lakers in the 2024 NBA Draft, is yet the team’s best new addition this season.
As the trade deadline on February 6, 2025, approaches, fans increasingly worry about the franchise’s prospects. Recently, Jovan Buha from The Athletic shared his thoughts on the potential consequences if the Lakers do not make a move by the deadline.
“I don’t think LeBron and AD are going to be happy, and at that point, they can ask out… I think that opens up the possibility for some bigger changes in the offseason.” Jovan Buha wrote in his latest reports.

“It’s been lingering for the last few years… Probably three days ago it was still pretty sore. But I’m able to get that back to 100 (percent), so that was great, so I was able to hit a lot of other elements as well.” James said.
