Referees in all sports pretty much get roasted by fan bases every year for terrible calls or non-calls,but last night clearly took the cake for NBA refs.
Late in the fourth quarter against the Houston Rockets — Kevin Durant stepped out of bounds three times and even touched the ball as he threw it back in bounds, yet every single official in the game completely missed it.
Officials allowed the play to continue and the Golden State Warriors benefited, as Stephen Curry buried a jumper. It was, quite possibly, the worst missed call in NBA history.
How in the world did this even happen?
The Warriors wound up losing on the next play, as James Harden nailed a clutch 3-pointer to give the Houston Rockets a 135-134 win in overtime.
