Another season. Another playoff elimination at the hands of the Golden State Warriors.
That’s been the story for the Houston Rockets, who have now been eliminated by the Warriors in four of the past five postseasons following last night’s series-clinching game 6 loss at home to the defending champs.
Without Kevin Durant in the lineup, it was Steph Curry and Klay Thompson leading the way for the Warriors with 33 and 27 points, respectively. They totally owned the Rockets last night, just like they have over the past five seasons.
It is now at the point where even Wikipedia is recognizing the Warriors stars as the new true owners of the Rockets franchise:
