The Dallas Mavericks finally got the grip in the second semifinal series game against the OKC Thunder when they snatched a 119-110 win in front of the tough Paycom Center crowd. After they evened their scores on Thursday night, an amusing incident followed in the post-game press conference which forced Luka Doncic to hide his face.
When the Mavs guard Luka Doncic attended the press conference, he was asked to address the difference between the two games they played in the semis. While he was trying to express his view, the sound of a moan caught everyone’s attention. Visibly shocked, the Slovenian guard bent his head forward and tried to control his laughter. Doncic then said, “Hope that’s not live.”
Soon, the awkward silence broke, and the proceedings continued with no more moaning sounds. The video has garnered almost 2 million views after surfacing, and Doncic’s facial expressions were well worth the clicks. Following a massive day at work leading the Mavericks to the victory, Doncic deserved a bit of amusement.
Luka Doncic Leads Mavs to Series Leveler
Doncic didn’t have impressive numbers in the previous game, but this time, he was determined to help the team win, even with a limp. Although the 25-year-old played with a sprained knee, it didn’t affect his marvellous performance on the court.
The 25-year-old was confident about his shooting skills and attempted 21 shots from the field, out of which 11 hit the target. From behind the arc, he successfully converted 5 of his 8 shots into baskets, along with two accurate free throws.
