When you have a ridiculous amount of 0’s in your bank account, it gives you free will to do stupid things with it at times.
For Raiders wide receiver Antonio Brown and 76ers forward Jimmy Butler, they decided to place a bet against each other and the winner would be $30,000 richer because of it.
So what exactly could a basketball star and football star bet on?
“I’m a competitor,” Butler said on the latest episode of First We Feast’s Hot Ones. “I still think I owe him like $30,000 because I made a bet that I could stop him from catching a ball in the red zone.”
The bet only came up because host Sean Evans asked about a photo of Brown and Butler working out in the summer of 2016.
According to the story told by Butler, he was attempting to cover Brown on the football field while Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson was throwing passes.

“You’re talking about the best receiver in the league and Russ at quarterback,” Butler said. “Just saying, if the Raiders had me opposite of [Brown], you never know where we could go.”
