For those who’ve been following LeBron’s career for over two decades, you know he won his first two championship rings with the Miami Heat in 2012 and 2013. Those were banner years for LeBron James, as he won the league MVP and the NBA Finals MVP on consecutive occasions. While he went on to achieve more success with the Lakers, he still misses his former teammates just as much as the Miami fans do.
On Monday, Miami Heat fans were treated to a nostalgic sight as a photo emerged of LeBron James reuniting with former coach Erik Spoelstra. In the picture, both were smiling as they posed for a selfie with Bam Adebayo and Jaime Jaquez Jr. This was extra special for LeBron, who won two championships alongside Coach Spoelstra back in the day.
One thing that makes the Miami Heat so strong as a team is its “Heat Culture”—a collection of principles that everyone adheres to. To highlight the culture, LeBron posted a story on Instagram with the caption “Heat Culture Past & Present.”
The simple sentence sparked a flood of responses from fans. Many have already started to recall the “Miami LeBron” era and speculated about the possibility of a future collaboration.
Steve Kerr Gives LeBron James High Marks for Performing Gruelling Exercises
Some things never change for LeBron James, even after dominating the NBA for nearly 20 years. This four-time champion gives it his best, from practice exercises to games against challenging opponents. Coach Steve Kerr of the USA team was shocked by LeBron’s intense practice intensity, which he recently treated like an NBA season.
Talking about his experience with LeBron after the first training season, Kerr said, “I was blown away by how hard he practices. And I went to [assistant coach Ty Lue] and [assistant coach Erik Spoelstra] and I said, ‘Is this normal?’ They said, ‘Every day, every day.’ To Spo, I said, ‘What about way back when you got him?’ Spo said, ‘Every day. Every drill, every walkthrough.”
