“You run different defenses at him, you are just hoping he messes up because he is just that good… He reminds me of Magic (Johnson) in that way. Those guys were big and had great vision, played at their own pace, and understood everybody around them. When you think of big guards who dominated like that, they are probably it.” said Monty on Luka Doncic.
He highlighted that the Mavs star is unstoppable, and the other teams can only hope that he makes mistakes so that they can capitalize on that. He compared Luka Doncic to the NBA legend Magic Johnson and applauded his vision and playmaking abilities.

When asked about the next face of the NBA, Iverson said, “Luka is crazy man. His skill set is just ridiculous. This guy can score 70 man. Like, it is so wide open. If you beat your man, then where is the help? The center a lot of times is not under the basket. It is just hard to guard Luka one-on-one.“
The former 76er star is not wrong in his explanation; Luka has been thriving in the league for the past few years. He has succeeded in making a name for himself and building his identity among the greatest ever to play the game.
