A few days ago, there were heavy rumors that the Houston Rockets were making everybody on the roster available for trade after the team failed once again to take down the mighty Golden State Warriors in the NBA playoffs.
Houston Rockets general manager Daryl Morey seemed to answer all of those rumors on at least two players when he “confirm” that James Harden and Chris Paul would definitely be staying.
He made those comments via Instagram:
That may be all well and good, but the franchise seems to be in disarray as contract extension talks with head coach Mike D’Antoni fell off the face of the map and now he’ll be coaching what seems to be his last season in Houston during the 2019-2020 season.
This is a hard fall from grace for a franchise that has been one of the only teams to have been competitive when playing the Warriors since they got Kevin Durant.
