Glen “Big Baby” Davis has probably caught more L’s off the court in the last few years of any former NBA player in recent memory.
Davis was caught on camera a few weeks ago sitting in somebody else’s seats during a game between the Nets and Celtics at TD Garden. It was a comical moment that went viral, but Davis might be in actual trouble because of it.
Davis being in Boston without the court’s permission was a violation of Davis’ bail terms — conditions which stem from Davis being charged with defrauding the NBA’s health and welfare benefit plan.
Davis was supposed to appear on the radio program “Toucher & Rich” on 98.5 the Sports Hub in Boston this Friday. Per the hosts, he had to cancel due to a court appearance.
“We were told the reason Big Baby couldn’t come in studio this morning is because he was in court,” the “Toucher & Rich” Twitter account shared. “If [Heitner’s tweet] is true, the reason is because he violated his bail to sit on the court at the Celtics/Nets game.”
