On Tuesday, half-man, half-amazing made the announcement of his intentions to return for a 22nd NBA season on the latest episode of the Winging It podcast: “I’m coming back.”
The eight-time All-Star ended 2018-19 in 23rd place on the NBA’s all-time scoring list with 25,430 career points.
Despite all of his accolades and still being able to produce at a high level, Gilbert Arenas was none too pleased about him coming back again.
The former Washington Wizards star took to Instagram and nasically called Carter out for taking the spot of a young player who won’t get to realize his NBA dream because he keeps coming back.
Not exactly the nest take from No Chill Gil. If a young player can’t beat a player in his 40’s, then he clearly doesn’t deserve to be in the league or have his spot.
The 42-year-old averaged 7.4 points on 41.9 percent shooting in 17.5 minutes while making 76 appearances this past season.
