Fans watching the Eastern Conference Finals during Game 4 weren’t the only ones turned off by seeing Rapper Drake in every shot during the game.
Drake’s sideline antics during Raptors games seem to get more and more extravagant over the years, and they are truly starting to rub people the wrong way.
On Wednesday, the senior director for Octagon Basketball Europe Georgios Dimitropoulos, which reps Giannis, took to Twitter and formally called him out for his antics in a since-deleted tweet.
“Imagine a gig & an athlete on VIP seats, right next to the band, stands up on the stage just to show off during the entire game, knowing cameras are on him, occasionally even massaging the singer. Security&him both allow it. Never seen anything as disrespectful as this before…”
It’s pretty clear who and what Dimitropoulos was referencing as Drake was viewed leaving his court-side seat to roam the Toronto sideline and even massaging the shoulders of head coach Nick Nurse.
