On Friday night, former NBA champion and current ESPN NBA analyst Paul Pierce once again showed how extraordinarily confident he is when it comes to his own legacy.
The former Boston Celtics legend drew the ire of NBA Twitter by arguing that he had a better overall career than Miami’s Dwyane Wade, despite having worse career stats and fewer accomplishments.
Pierce defended himself by arguing that he played his best prior to the social media era:
Wade’s wife and actress, Gabrielle Union, took the argument to an entirely different level when she took to Twitter and ripped Pierce for being a black man and tearing another black man down.
